Not necessarily. … Not necessarily. When I made this video I wasn’t into Twitter. Generally, Twitter and StumbleUpon have been the best for me, but your mileage may vary.
If you have not … If you have not heard yet, there is now a new p2p network that was just launched named Global Herald Network that is designed to help people exchange information regarding anything such as questions, ideas, products and services with peers all over the world right from their desktop. This is an incredible and efficient concept this new p2p network.
Shadowfan, great … Shadowfan, great question. If you’re kinda new, you generally need to make the effort to hook up with other people.
But by forming genuine relationships with other bloggers and always providing value to them with every interaction, you will build your audience by building your network.
It’s a longer road, but eventually you reach a critical mass (a tipping point, if you will) where your audience and your network promote you.
Thanks jfh, the … Thanks jfh, the SlideCasting thing is fun, but as with most multimedia, it’s also time-consuming. Some things work really well for that format, so it’s great to have that choice.
It is definitely a … It is definitely a waste of time. Why spend that time on another persons website, giving them more traffic when you could be spending it on your own site.
Probably one of the biggest dilemmas that I have is, should I let people find me or should I go out and find the people. My searching for others does bring in traffic short term but in the long term most of those people don’t visit the site again.
I love the video/SlideCasts route you’re taking with Remarkablogger, it shakes up the mindless reading that sometimes results from reading blog after blog.
LOL - right it … LOL - right it is. It was going, anyway. Then when I got new glasses I decided to go for a new look. Now I do everything much faster, because I’m more aerodynamic.

Nope. Getting traffic involves more than just good writing. You have to connect and network with other people.

Q:”How to promote your blog using social media.”
A: By promoting yourself.
But I guess that title isn’t as eye catching. ;o)
