How to get traffic for my blog?

My blog's comments is zero up to now.
Many make the mistake of believing that once they create a blog, people will immediately flock to it. There are millions out there so why would they visit your blog?
Here are some ways you can promote your blog
1. Create great content – everything starts with great content. Think 'Linkbait" — or writing about stuff that would be so great that people will want to link to you. It can be a news hook where you write about something that is contrary to what everyone else is saying; resource hook where you have the only information available or humor hook.
2. Update the content regularly – make your visitors come back again and again to your blog by providing daily updates (even multiple posts per day!)

Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News.

You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.

they will bring you about 200 uniques a day…then just build on that.

Hi
You need to do small research on the socio behavioral cluster of the people. collect information according to the age group for eg.
Male or female less than 15 years would be interested in games, friends, education etc. so you can have section for them
M/F between 15 - 22 years would be interested in friendship, latent fashion, sex , dating
M/F between 22 - 30 would be interested in marriage issues, girlfriend issues, careers , new gadgets etc
M/F between 30 and above would be interested in automobile, real estate, kids education, leisure, entertainment , politics etc.
Accordingly you can create different section targeting different profile of people at different point of time.
It like offering platter mix of different cuisines
