What is the best way to get traffic to my blog?
Written by admin on October 11, 2008 – 11:49 am -I am new to the world of blogging. However I have been updating my blog continuously for last 3-4 days. However I still didn't see any traffic yet. Can anybody tell me, how fast does the Google robot crawl to my blog and pick up my content so I can get some targeted traffic to my blog and website?

Title:
In title of your blog try to sellect words which poeple frequently use in their search queries like this blog's title is vitiligo because it is a generic keyword in health and skin diesease catagory. http://vitiligo.blog-4u.co.uk/
Url:
Use Generic keyword in the URL of your blog like
http://vitiligo-herbs.blogspot.com/
http://www.blogscene.co.uk/vitiligo/
http://www.meonline.co.uk/vitiligo/
in these blogs the key word vitiligo is used.
Cntents:
your content should be clean and easy to understand, insert images if required. If you took data from any other source change the wording from the original source.
for example the source of the above blog is http://www.antivitiligo.com/ but the outher of the blog change the wording.

First for each blog post include multiple keywords and descriptive tags. Then probably you need to submit your website/blog to the top search engines google, yahoo, ask, live. If that doesn't help then you there are many plans for traffic you can get to help increase targeted traffic.
(I got Adsense just to get visitors to my website)

You first need to make sure you are submitted to all the major search engines, then you need to get links to your blog from other websites eg: forums, facebook, myspace, stumble, other blogs, delicius + other bookmarking sites, you can also submit articles to websites based around your content then add your link to the article.
I would ensure you are added to stumble because I see a lot of traffic on my sites from them

Building traffic on your blog takes time. I think one of the best ways is by reading and commenting on other blogs that share similar interests with yours. When you start commenting on other peoples blogs, they will come visit your blog and begin commenting on yours, then you will get added to peoples blogrolls, and the community builds from there. I took an online blog writing course at BlogWritingCourse.com that helped me get started all the way from the design of the blog to building my audience. You can search the Internet as much as you want and spend countless days looking for the answer. Start off small. Post comments on other blogs, and post in relevant forums. Add a signature in your profile on forums, as this is one way to get initial links to your site. You’ll also be surprised at how much traffic forums can earn for you. Use social bookmarking sites like Technocrati and Delicious as well.
